This woodblock print by Chōbunsai Eishi depicts the courtesan Takihime accompanied by two young attendants. It belongs to the series titled New Patterns of Young Greens, a collection that explores the fashion and social standing of women within the Yoshiwara pleasure district. Eishi, a former painter for the Tokugawa shogunate, brought a refined sensibility to the ukiyo-e genre. His figures are characterised by elongated proportions and a sense of poise that differs from the more robust depictions of his contemporaries.

The composition focuses on the central figure of Takihime, whose stature and elaborate kimono dominate the frame. The attendants are positioned slightly behind her, creating a sense of depth and hierarchy. The artist employs a delicate line quality to define the folds of the garments and the facial features of the women. The colour palette is restrained, relying on soft earth tones and muted pinks, which allows the viewer to focus on the pattern of the textiles and the posture of the subjects. A small cartouche in the upper right corner, featuring a rabbit motif, provides a decorative element that balances the figures on the left.
