Description
Whiteford looks across tidal sand and a sweeping estuary from a weathered pointed stone ruin, where green headlands and a pale sky make the coast feel quietly expansive.
A broken stone gable with a tall pointed arch rises from the foreground, opening towards a broad sweep of pale sand and shallow blue water. The ruin's rough masonry contrasts with soft grass, while a narrow path descends through the hillside towards the shore. Green headlands fold away on either side beneath a high, cloud-dappled sky.
Whiteford is distilled into a view of coastal layers: old stone, a walk down to the water, tidal flats and distant sea. Those visible elements give the print a strong sense of approach, retaining the scale and quiet exposure of the shoreline.
