The figure sits in a meditative posture upon a rocky outcrop, surrounded by stylised natural elements. The white robes of the deity are rendered with fluid, controlled lines, creating a sense of weight and volume that contrasts with the flatter, decorative treatment of the surrounding environment.

The composition is anchored by a large, circular halo that frames the upper torso and head of Kannon, providing a clear visual centre. Behind the figure, a waterfall cascades down a cliffside, while pine branches extend into the space, typical of the Rinpa aesthetic which often integrates natural motifs with religious iconography.
