The woman holds a cross, a traditional symbol of endurance and faith, while a lamb rests beside her, representing gentleness and innocence. Beneath her, a dragon lies subdued, symbolising the triumph of calm resolve over chaotic or malevolent forces.

The drapery of the figure's robes is rendered with rhythmic, parallel hatching that creates a sense of volume and weight.
