Friedensreich Hundertwasser, born Friedrich Stowasser, was an Austrian artist and architect known for his rejection of straight lines and his advocacy for ecological harmony. In his philosophy, the first skin is the human body, the second is clothing, and the third is the house or building we inhabit. This work, titled The Third Skin, visualises this concept through a dense, colourful urban composition that merges architecture with organic forms. The image displays a collection of buildings that appear to grow from the ground like trees. Windows are scattered across facades in irregular patterns, resembling eyes or portals.
