The Rudston Monolith centres this quiet East Yorkshire view, its weathered stone rising above ploughed fields and a wide, cloud-filled sky with a calm, enduring presence.
A pale shaft of stone fills the foreground, its rough face catching light above scattered boulders at its base. Beyond it, long field boundaries run towards a low horizon in bands of green and ochre, while broad cream clouds gather across a blue sky.
