Description
The Aird’s shore-side farmhouse and grazing sheep give this Highland coastal view a settled, pastoral calm beside the open sea, beneath a wide, cloud-streaked sky.
A pale track curves across the foreground grass towards a white farmhouse and a low group of outbuildings. Beyond them, a stone barn stands behind a fence, while two sheep graze in the field. The coast bends away to the left, where dark cliffs meet calm water beneath layered hills.
The scene brings together working ground and a broad Highland shoreline. For someone who knows The Aird, the farmhouse, grazing field and distant coastal edge give the view the feel of a familiar route above the sea. The pale track remains visible as it curves through the field.
