Description
The winding river gives the Thames Valley a calm, pastoral mood, threading between wooded banks and patchwork fields, Its soft light and measured view give the place a quietly memorable character.
Blue water enters at the lower centre and bends through the valley. Thick trees line both banks, opening to green fields and small buildings on the slopes beyond. A series of low hills recedes towards the horizon, while pale cloud layers leave a broad blue opening overhead.
