Description
Square is pictured beneath an immense church spire, with a carved memorial cross, pale paving and soft green hills making the town square feel open and quietly ceremonial.
The church front is built in warm stone, with a rose window, pointed arches and smaller pinnacles set below the central spire. Flowering beds border the paved space, while low shopfronts and rounded hills recede beyond the trees under a broad, cloud-filled sky.
Square can mean the pause in a journey when a settlement reveals its centre, whether you arrive from the surrounding roads or know the district through daily errands. This view gives that meeting point a clear civic presence, with the cross in the foreground and the steep tower drawing attention back through the square.
