Description
Spurn Point pairs a striped lighthouse with a pebble shore and flowering dune grass, holding a quiet stretch of coast beneath towering summer clouds.
The tower’s lantern and gallery cut a crisp silhouette against a high blue sky, while small pale cottages gather at its foot. Farther along the inlet, shallow water catches the cloud shapes and low posts mark the tide line. The foreground is close with ochre grass, dark green leaves and scattered purple bloom, giving the coastal edge weight and colour.
For visitors to Spurn Point, the view brings back the exposed approach where the land narrows beside the Humber. Its lighthouse and shore create a familiar marker for a walk shaped by weather, tide and the long horizon.
