Description
Shelter Stone stands solitary amid heather and scattered rock, while a long Highland ridge rises behind the boulder beneath a cool Scottish sky, giving the moorland a quietly monumental character.
The great boulder is placed like a marker on the slope, its pale face catching the clearest light above a sweep of purple heather and tawny grass.
