Description
Severn / Thames pairs a many-arched stone bridge with a tall Gothic church, their warm reflections settling across still water below wooded Gloucestershire hills.
A broad stone bridge crosses quiet water on a sequence of rounded arches, its balustrade and copper-topped pier standing sharp against the trees. Behind it, a tall Gothic church tower and nave emerge above dense foliage, while deep green hills rise under long, pale clouds.
Severn / Thames gives visitors and Gloucestershire residents a view where river craft, masonry and landscape meet. Reflections draw the eye through the foreground water towards the bridge, then upwards to the church's vertical silhouette and surrounding slopes. Wildflower stems soften the near bank and catch the light.
