Description
River North Tyne follows a quiet bend beneath overhanging trees, with soft reflections giving the wooded water a sheltered mood, while the open sky keeps the view light and spacious.
The near bank is thick with reeds and grasses, while rounded tree canopies line the opposite side. Reflections break into green and blue bands across the surface. Beyond the river, a low strip of open ground sits beneath distant hills and a clouded sky.
Residents familiar with this stretch of Northumberland, the river's wooded banks offer a familiar pause in the Tyne valley. The view keeps the water central, bordered by vegetation that reaches down to the edge of River North Tyne. The river remains the central feature, with grasses at the near edge and trees continuing along the far bank.
