Description
Promenade Park, Maldon pairs a waterside fountain with a distant church tower, giving the park scene a gentle town-centre atmosphere, leaving the view open, calm and easy to remember.
A paved path runs beneath trees at the left, while a bench faces the open lawn. In the centre, a fountain rises from the water, with sailboat masts and a church tower beyond. The far bank is lined by houses beneath a pale blue sky.
Promenade Park, Maldon sits beside the Blackwater Estuary and gives residents an easy route between green space and water. The fountain and boats connect the park to the town’s maritime setting, while the tower marks the settled skyline. Anyone who has walked along this stretch may remember the open lawn facing the estuary and the boats beyond it.
