Description
Pen y Gadair Fawr rises beyond a winding upland path, with low green ridges and a broad bank of white cloud overhead with a winding trail across open ground.
The place note describes the walk from Waun Fach to the named summit, and Sir Powys is the stated region. The poster follows a footpath across open high ground towards the named summit. The route is visible from the foreground to the crest, with rolling hills extending on either side.
A pale path enters at the bottom and winds steadily up the central ridge. Low scrub and green grass cover the slopes, with darker vegetation marking shallow folds in the ground. The summit remains low against a wide sky, where large pale clouds gather above blue-grey distance. The route’s changing bends give the open hillside a clear sense of direction. Pen y Gadair Fawr stands at the end of this visible route.
