Description
Ness Point sets a striped lighthouse above the harbour wall, with quiet water, heavy stone blocks and a distant shoreline giving the Suffolk coast a measured horizon.
The lighthouse at Ness Point stands tall on a broad breakwater, its white shaft marked by a deep red band and copper-toned lantern. Large sea defences step down into still grey-blue water, while a distant tower and low town forms sit across the harbour. Broad clouds carry the light overhead, leaving the structure sharply outlined against the sky.
