Description
Meigle centres on a high Gothic spire and a three-arched bridge, with river reflections, meadow flowers and soft Perthshire hills unfolding beyond the village.
From the riverbank, a pale bridge carries the eye towards clustered roofs and the remarkable needle-like spire beyond. Purple flowers and grasses soften the near bank, while the water reflects the arches in broken bands of blue and grey. Mature trees frame the church and reveal layered green hills behind it. The gentle evening sky gives each stone surface a silvery clarity, making the crossing feel both intimate and open to the surrounding countryside.
