Little Hograh Moor opens into a wild, broad and bright upland valley, where a single stone arch crosses a boulder-strewn stream beneath steep, green crags.
Sunlit slopes converge around a clear, rocky watercourse, with a low masonry arch bridge carrying the eye towards a dark-sided fell. Fine grass, scattered boulders and broad cloud forms give the scene a spacious, high-country character, while the curving valley suggests a route continuing beyond the visible ridge.
