Description
Under the changing tree at Oji, fox silhouettes gather as amber foxfire lifts through the dark, opening a four print sequence about place, presence and the fragile boundary between worlds.
At the edge of night, the place seems to wake before any character does. A single old tree holds the upper field while small animal forms collect below it and faint red light threads upward through the darkness. The scene stays with the gathering itself, before the encounter reaches the human road.
High oblique space makes the tree and open night carry the weight of the composition, with rough paper, deep black and warm ochre giving the sheet a weathered printed surface. This contemporary interpretation opens the four print sequence, assembled from Oji foxfire and fox spirit traditions without claiming one fixed kitsune story.
