Odilon Redon's 'Icarus' captures the tragic figure from Greek mythology in a warm palette of reds and oranges. This Symbolist painting evokes a sense of vulnerability and impending doom.

Odilon Redon, a French Symbolist painter, created works that explored the realms of dreams and the subconscious. His artistic output moved away from realism, embracing subjective experience and imaginative themes.
