Description
Hollybush Spout makes an Ingleton woodland walk feel like a discovery, a refreshing waterfall choice for those drawn to enclosed green gorges and the energy of falling water.
A white chute drops between tall fractured walls into a deep blue-green pool. Narrow ledges break its upper run, and foam spreads in an uneven fan below. The left rock face shows long pale seams beside rusty stone, with moss growing in the cracks; leafy canopies crowd both sides above rounded boulders.
At Hollybush Spout, the trees and close rock faces make the cascade feel especially concentrated. The surrounding detail is quiet enough for the movement of the water to dominate. It is a strong reminder of an Ingleton outing where a shaded path led to a sudden opening and the sound of the falls arrived before the view.
