Description
Hadleigh Ray in Essex follows a pale path between tidal channels and tall grasses, with a low industrial skyline resting beneath a broad clouded sky.
The track curves along a raised grassy bank, separating blue-green water from broad expanses of reedbed. Distant chimneys, cranes and block-like buildings form a thin silhouette at the horizon, kept small beneath the enormous wash of light. Fine seed heads in the foreground and soft reflections in the pools give the estuary a spare, spacious rhythm.
