Description
Gleouraich in the western Highlands rises above blue loch water in long green shoulders, with pale shore rocks and a low bridge set beneath the broad mountain ridge in clear summer light.
Gleouraich stands north of Loch Quoich, reaching 1,035 metres in the northwest Highlands. Its southern slopes are comparatively grassy, while the northern side has steeper rock faces and corries. A high ridge connects this Munro with Spidean Mialach, often climbed on the same outing using old stalkers’ paths.
The mountain occupies most of the upper view, with grey ribs exposed along its rounded crest and dark shadows falling down the green flank. Below, calm blue water curves around pale rocky points. A low concrete bridge crosses a narrow arm on the left. Small shrubs and flat grey stones fill the near bank, beneath high clouds that suggest bright summer weather.
