This study of the Ridderzaal at the Binnenhof in The Hague captures the medieval structure with a characteristic economy of means. The Ridderzaal, or Hall of Knights, is a thirteenth-century building that serves as a central feature of the Binnenhof complex. Bosboom focuses on the interplay between the imposing gothic facade and the surrounding space.
