Description
Fermyn Wood quietly follows a winding pale path beneath an old broadleaf canopy, past blue flowers and sunlit undergrowth towards a softly wooded horizon.
A large dark-barked tree frames the right side of the image, its spreading branches carrying a dense canopy of green leaves. A pale path bends through low grass and blue flower spikes before disappearing between younger trees. Tall straight trunks rise on the left, while layers of foliage soften into a distant wooded ridge. Small breaks in the leaves reveal a muted blue sky and broad cream clouds, keeping the clearing bright without flattening the shade.
Fermyn Wood is built around the gentle pull of a path through mature trees. It keeps the viewpoint low and close to bark, leaves and ground cover, then lets the eye follow the curve towards the quieter depths of the wood.
