Description
Falls of Clyde in South Lanarkshire centres on a broad stepped waterfall, pouring through sunlit rock shelves under a close canopy of green woodland.
Several separate curtains of water cross the river before the main fall drops into a pale foaming pool. Flat ledges and blocky sandstone-coloured faces form a natural stairway along the left bank, while branches frame the right edge.
