Colourful moorings give Eyemouth an immediate coastal welcome, a lively Borders connection for anyone who enjoys smaller Scottish ports where the waterfront remains closely bound to the life of the town.
Orange wheelhouses and blue hulls gather below fine white masts. Across the turquoise basin, pale gabled fronts stand directly above a dark quay wall. A small domed turret and a slender spire break the roofs, while golden seedheads cover the steep near bank.
Eyemouth's long harbour reach lets the town unfold from its close boats to the trees beyond the houses.
