Description
Eve Hill climbs through heather and pale rock towards a hilltop castle ruin, with a winding path and wide views over the Dudley countryside.
Broken towers and open window arches catch the light above the ridge, while low walls step around the summit. In the foreground, large grey boulders sit beside the path, and purple flowers thread through the grass before the ground drops towards fields and a scattered settlement below.
Eve Hill suits anyone drawn to a walk with a visible destination at its end. Visitors and local residents can recognise the pull of the rising track and the changing view behind it, with the ruined castle keeping the hilltop in sight from the first rocks.
