Description
East Runton’s sandy foreshore and chalky cliffs meet a calm North Sea beneath a wide, pale evening sky, with the surrounding view held in soft natural light.
The low cliff runs along the left side, showing layered earth above a strip of shingle and sand. A shallow pool reflects the sky near the centre, and a dark rock rests close to the waterline. The sea stretches to the horizon with a small boat in the distance. Fine cloud bands catch warm light above the coast. The open beach leaves space between the cliff and the water.
The changing shoreline is part of East Runton’s appeal, where the cliffs and beach reveal different textures as the tide moves. The shallow pool and scattered rock suggest a low-water moment, while the distant boat keeps the North Sea in view. Walkers may remember following the beach beneath the low cliffs or watching the light shift across the water.
