Description
The canal-like waterway gives Driffield a reflective, unhurried mood, carrying the eye between brick buildings and open sky, Its soft light and measured view give the place a quietly memorable character.
Still water begins at the lower edge and narrows towards a bend between grassy banks. A small brick building stands on the left, while larger industrial-looking blocks sit further back on the right. Low trees and distant structures break the horizon beneath layered pink and blue clouds.
