Description
Crook Point Sands follows a long pale beach beneath blue headlands, with lichen-marked boulders and a dark pine anchoring the quiet sweep of water.
From a boulder-strewn slope, thin white wave lines trace the shore in broad crescent bands. The nearby rock is mottled with cream lichen and framed by rough grass, while a tall evergreen cuts into the clouded sky. Farther along the coast, low dark promontories separate strips of sand from calm blue-grey sea, with muted hills closing the horizon.
Crook Point Sands offers a familiar coastal sequence for anyone who has walked this edge of the United Kingdom. The elevated viewpoint lets the coves unfold one after another, keeping the near stone, tidal lines and distant uplands in sight as the shore turns away.
