Description
Chelmsford looks calm from the riverbank, where a slim grey spire, a red arched bridge and two white swans share a mirror of still water.
Willows and tall reeds crowd both banks, and purple flower spikes lean in at the bottom corner. A brick wall with a dark coping runs along the right side of the path. Pale flats sit behind the bridge, and the spire is repeated softly in the ripples below.
