Description
Cambridge in Cambridgeshire reflects a pale arched bridge and college towers across gold purple water, with overhanging autumn leaves beneath orange clouds in the soft light of evening.
The city’s riverside colleges form the historic Backs along the River Cam. King’s College was founded by Henry VI in 1441, and its chapel remains a prominent feature of the university skyline. College lawns and bridges connect the architecture with the green margins of the river.
Cambridge has a pale single arch bridge crossing gold and purple water below tall college pinnacles. Gabled buildings stand across broad lawns on the left, near a low spreading willow. Dark leaves hang from the upper right, echoed by reeds along the near bank. Orange clouds and warm turning foliage suggest a still evening in autumn beside the reflective Cam.
