Description
Branscombe Beach curves beneath green coastal cliffs, while offshore sea stacks give this East Devon view a rugged, tidal character beneath a wide blue sky.
Large trees spread across the middle of the scene, their trunks set apart over a broad patch of grass. Sunlight reaches the far side of the green, while small buildings appear through gaps in the foliage. A blue sky and soft clouds remain visible between the branches above.
Branscombe Beach is the place at the centre of this view. The open space gives Stokenchurch a village-scale view, familiar to anyone who has passed through the Chilterns settlement. Its mature trees provide shade around the grass, while glimpses of cottages keep the scene connected to the nearby streets. Branches frame the scene overhead.
