Description
Boggle Hole centres on a rugged Yorkshire cove, where a stone boathouse, clear water and steep cliffs give the shoreline its tucked-away, salt-weathered character.
The small stone building meets the water at the foot of a dark cliff, with a stepped quay and narrow inlet leading towards the open sea. Sunlit clouds brighten the sky above the rock face, while green slopes soften the upper edge of the cove. The masonry, tide line and enclosed bay create a more intimate coastal rhythm than the wide beach beyond.
Boggle Hole is part of the North Yorkshire coast's appeal for people who prefer coves, paths and the changing detail of the tide. Visitors can picture arriving from the clifftop trail, while returning walkers may recognise the shelter offered by stone, water and steep ground.
