Description
Betsom's Hill looks across open pasture towards a wooded ridge, creating a quiet, expansive mood with scattered farm buildings tucked below the trees in the valley.
The nearest field stretches across the lower view in long bands of green, bordered by shrubs at the edge. Above it, a line of trees follows the foot of a wooded slope, where pale farm buildings with warm roofs appear between the foliage. A broad blue sky fills the upper half, crossed by pale clouds tinged with pink.
This view of Betsom’s Hill connects the open ground with the wooded heights that define the area around Tatsfield. For someone who knows the local lanes, the scattered buildings and field margins offer a familiar glimpse of the countryside just beyond the village, with the ridge holding the horizon.
