Description
Beinn Odhar (Tyndrum) in Stirling rises beyond green and russet glen slopes, with pale near boulders and small summit snow patches beneath white cloud banks in the sunshine of a spring afternoon.
This 901 metre Corbett stands just north of Tyndrum as a steep grassy cone. Its ascent can form a short outing or be linked with Beinn Chaorach and Cam Chreag. Longer traverses cross the neighbouring Corbetts and return through Auch Gleann along the West Highland Way.
Beinn Odhar (Tyndrum) rises above a long green glen edged by bands of rust coloured heather. Small white snow patches remain on the left summit and the more distant right peak. Pale grey boulders sit among tall near grass, with a thin dark burn tracing the valley floor. White cloud banks and fresh green slopes suggest sunny spring afternoon conditions.
