Description
Beinn Ghobhlach rises beyond a Highland loch, its broad slopes reflected beneath a clear, open sky in this illustrated view in this illustrated view.
The mountain occupies the far bank, with a rounded summit and lower ridges extending to either side. Blue water fills the middle distance and reflects the green hills. A grassy field and a small cluster of trees line the foreground shore. Clouds gather high above the ridge, leaving the mountain outline unobstructed.
Beinn Ghobhlach is shown across the water, where its shape is easy to read against the sky. The near shore gives the scene a grounded foreground, while the loch creates a clear interval between viewer and mountain. Visitors familiar with this part of Wester Ross may recall the broad outlook and the quiet scale of the water beneath the hills.
