Potter Fell brings a high Lakeland panorama of rough grass, sunlit slopes and a solitary summit marker, looking beyond the hills towards a cool, cloud-bright horizon.
A weathered concrete summit pillar stands among rounded rocks and wiry grass, facing a succession of olive ridges that recede into blue distance. Pale lichen freckles the foreground boulders, while diagonal folds of the Lakeland fells catch bands of sun and shadow beneath layered cream clouds.
