Description
The sweeping green ridge gives Mynydd Tarw an expansive upland mood, with wooded slopes falling away beneath a clear blue sky, Its soft light and measured view give the place a quietly memorable character.
A rounded crest crosses the upper middle of the scene, with bright grass running down towards darker bands of trees. The valley opens on the left, where successive hills fade into blue distance. Cloud clusters drift above the ridge, leaving much of the sky clear.
Mynydd Tarw is shown here in its surroundings. For walkers in Sir Powys, the broad slopes suggest a route over open ground with wide views on either side. The crest remains easy to follow, while the wooded valley below gives the high ground a clear sense of scale.
