The walls are textured with patterns resembling circuit boards, suggesting a shift from mechanical to digital domesticity. A prominent image of the planet Jupiter hangs from the ceiling, while a bodybuilder holding a stop sign occupies the right side of the frame. The inclusion of an 'AIDS' poster and a computer terminal at the desk introduces a more sombre, information-saturated reality compared to the optimistic consumerism of the post-war era.
