When we find or are told about an editorial error, we fix it and log it here.

2026-04-29: Nationality phrasing on artist pages

Some artist pages displayed nationality as a historical-state name (for example "Kingdom of the Netherlands") rather than the modern demonym ("Dutch"). Affected pages have been re-rendered with the correct phrasing.

2026-04-29: Diacritic stripping in artist URLs

A subset of artist pages with diacritic letters in their names had non-canonical URL slugs (for example "albrecht-drer" instead of "albrecht-durer"). Slugs have been canonicalised and 301 redirects added from the legacy URLs.

2026-04-29: Bare-handle 404s on artist pages

Some legacy URLs of the form /pages/{artist-handle} returned 404 because the canonical URL is /pages/artist-{artist-handle}. We added 301 redirects from each legacy bare-handle URL to the canonical form.

2026-04-29: Markup corrections

Several Schema.org and inline-citation rendering issues were resolved: a structured-data property name corrected, and adjacent duplicate citation superscripts suppressed. Affected pages re-rendered the same day.
