Gerrit Lamberts
Gerrit Lamberts spent much of his career as the curator of the Rijksmuseum when it was located in the Trippenhuis. He was responsible for the physical care of the national collection while maintaining his own practice as a draughtsman and watercolourist. Instead, he preferred a literal translation of the urban environment.
