This specific composition captures the quiet atmosphere of the property, focusing on the house framed by the heavy, overhanging branches of mature trees. The artist employs a palette of earthy ochres, deep greens, and muted browns to describe the architecture and the surrounding foliage.
Cézanne constructs the scene through distinct, rhythmic brushstrokes.
