Beschreibung
At High Dykes in the Vale of Eden, a rough stone post and wire fence frame open pasture below the distant Cross Fell ridge in soft daylight.
Patchwork pastures stretch towards a low, blue ridge, with rows of trees and scattered roofs marking the middle distance. In front, a weathered marker and wire fence cut across the grass. Small pale clouds drift above the ridge, while a broad band of sky leaves the distant slopes clearly outlined. Fence posts recede across the right-hand grass.
