Beschreibung
Suilven’s twin peaks rise above the russet moor, creating a bold Highland silhouette beneath a clear blue sky, against the open Scottish Highland sky.
The mountain’s steep rocky summit forms two high points against the open sky. Lower slopes spread out in broad bands of red-brown heather, with small patches of green cutting through the foreground. A distant ridge sits low at the edge of the moor, leaving Suilven’s outline dominant. Thin clouds stretch above the peaks without hiding their shape.
For walkers who have crossed this part of Assynt, Suilven’s profile is a constant marker across the open ground. The change from rough moorland to bare rock gives the mountain its distinct outline, while the wide sky leaves the summit unobstructed.
