Beschreibung
Strathy opens onto a broad sandy bay, where white surf reaches a pale shore beneath a low green headland and open northern Highland sky.
Long cream clouds cross the blue sky above an ochre and olive headland, which breaks into dark rocky faces along the waterline. Parallel white breakers travel over turquoise water and thin into pale lines at the shore. A broad sweep of light sand fills the lower half, while dark green grasses and pale rocks edge the near left corner.
Strathy Bay lies on Scotland’s north coast. Its low headland forms a clear line above the beach, while repeated breakers mark the water below. People with a connection to the Highlands may recognise this broad bay; anyone curious about the north coast can trace the curve from the sandy foreground to the distant shore.
