Beschreibung
St Brides gathers around a sheltered Pembrokeshire harbour, where closely set houses climb above the water in the light of sunset, with the foreground shore, open water and distant land all kept in view.
The waterfront buildings form a dense line beside the harbour, with pale facades and dark roofs catching the warm light. Boats and small structures sit along the water’s edge. Beyond the rooftops, wooded slopes rise towards the horizon, while orange clouds reflect in the calm inlet.
The clustered shore gives St Brides a village scale, with homes close to the harbour and hills immediately behind them. The evening light draws out the waterfront’s curve, linking the houses above with the boats and reflections below. The changing shapes of the shore and the clear separation between near ground and distance remain visible throughout the scene.
