Beschreibung
Snettisham in Norfolk pairs a distant church spire with a curving waterside beach, where pastel huts and golden grasses look across calm blue shallows under bright summer clouds.
Near Norfolk's western coast, this village lies south of Hunstanton and north of King's Lynn. Its shore faces Lincolnshire across the Wash, while St Mary's Church has a spire about fifty-two metres high that has served as a landmark for shipping.
The view at Snettisham follows a pale sandy edge around still blue water. Small grey, cream and brown huts stand above the shore on the right, reached by short timber steps. Beyond green fields and trees, a tall church spire rises into a clear sky. Tawny foreground grasses catch the light beneath large white clouds, suggesting midsummer warmth.
