Beschreibung
Sgùrr nan Coireachan (Glenfinnan) in Highland Lochaber encloses a green corrie around a winding blue burn, with pale summit snow and grey rock ribs beneath a wide, cloud scattered spring sky.
This 956 metre Munro stands north of Glenfinnan, just south of the Rough Bounds of Knoydart. A rugged ridge links it with Sgùrr Thuilm above Corryhully. The connecting ground crosses Beinn Gharbh and Meall an Tarmachan, with views towards the remote head of Loch Morar from the upper mountain.
Sgùrr nan Coireachan (Glenfinnan) rises above a deep green corrie, where a thin blue burn twists towards the foreground. Dark grey ribs descend from the broken left rim, while broad grassy slopes close the hollow on the right. Small snow patches mark the central summit crown. Large pale clouds and sunlit lower slopes suggest a clear interval during the spring thaw.
